experience dining during the Riverboat era

Riverfront Bar & Grill

Riverfront Bar & Grill is a popular dining spot in Marietta that locals highly recommend and is also a favorite among visitors exploring the area.

The current version of the Riverfront Bar & Grill underwent renovations in 1984, during which the ceiling was carefully crafted using hand-plastering techniques. A large and hardwood bar was also constructed by skilled Ohio-Amish craftsmen.

The restaurant’s atmosphere is distinct, with original riverboat paintings and model sternwheelers that complement the scenic Ohio River views just outside.

The Lafayette Hotel obtained the first-ever liquor license in Marietta on January 19, 1934, after the ratification of the 21st amendment thereby abolishing prohibition.

Immerse yourself in the experience of a grand riverboat-era dining room with delectable food and drink options, impeccable service, and stunning views.
